so yay My American Gov class took our trip to the Kentucky Stat penatentury it was actually pretty cool we took a tour and they showed us there different facilities and gave us plenty of insight about prison life one thing that surprised me was the fact that there where cat yes cats every where they were all over the place and the inmates loved them and the gaurds didnt seem to care because the cats helped keep the inmates calm in fact i saw one inmate carring around a tiny little kitten it was kinda funny because he was almost twice my size im im like 6 foot tall and he had the little baby cat and he was just setting there petting it the inmats werent to bad either some waved to us we talked to a couple of guys that were tending to a flower garden we were going to see the electric chair but they moved it to a ristriced area alot of us were dissapointed including me i wanted to sit in it all and all it was a fun trip but i dont think i want to go back any time soon lol
